Melina (they/them) is a queer Buddhist teacher who has been meditating since 2003. In 2012 they took monastic vows under Thich Nhat Hanh and spent eight years in robes. After leaving monastic life they trained in Buddhist Spiritual Care at the University of Toronto and in the True North Insight Community Meditation Leader Mentorship program.

Their teaching blends Insight and Plum Village practices with somatics, justice and creativity.
